Dyslectic Portland Cop Charges Motorists With IUD

Dyslectic Portland Cop

Portland, OR – Rookie Officer Bob Senoj has become somewhat of a local celebrity—but for all the wrong reasons. During his first weekend on patrol, Senoj mistakingly charged no fewer than 15 inebriated Portland drivers with IUD. And these were just the most striking of his snafus that sent division records clerks into a state of discombobulation.

The first instance might have passed for a simple typographical error when Officer Senoj ticketed a motorist who was driving erratically. But several hours later, patrolling Portland's weekend nightlife, the IUD citations piled up.

Another instance the next day involved a youngster who was driving his dirt bike on a public street, which is not legal within Portland's city limits. Senoj wrote him a warning for UOI (Underage Operation Infraction) but ended up handing the confused boy an IOU.

Over the course of the weekend, Officer Senoj had ticketed almost 100 Portland residents for infractions ranging from "expired licensed driver" to "loading in a zoning park."

“I thought I was doing everything by the book,” Senoj explained, shaking his head. “Turns out, I was doing the reverse." He has been placed on paid administrative leave while his performance is under review. Officer Senoj seemed resigned to his involuntary vacation, saying, "I guess I'll just chill out and watch some VT."
